If I could rank this office (not the medical staff) lower than one star I would do so in a heartbeat. My husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer last winter. He had his kidney removed by Dr. Niu (who was absolutely fantastic to work with). Dr. Arther took care of my husbands treatments and was also wonderful to work with. I cannot give the same praise to the office staff. I am beyond frustrated with this place. My partner went in over 2 months ago and sent in a lab sample. We didn’t hear anything for weeks about it. Finally we got someone to answer the phone 5 weeks after the lab was sent in and they told us they don’t know what happened but they just got the sample result the day before and that the doctor would look at it soon… this phone call was now 2 weeks ago with yet again no phone call. The doctor was great but their receptionist procedures need to be updated. I have had to schedule things multiple times and wait most times at least 30 minutes on hold. When I leave a message they do not call back same day even if I call before 4pm. If they request a call back they don’t have a direct line to procedures scheduling therefore you’re never able to call them back. Scheduling with them has been a headache.
Very disappointing experience due to poor communication and lack of transparency. I had a procedure scheduled and struggled to get any information despite calling multiple times. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told I would need to pay the full cost upfront because they did not want to wait for insurance processing. This was never communicated beforehand, and being told this on the day of the procedure was extremely frustrating.
